To enhance the overarching goal of the CAP-IT program, which is the discovery of molecularly or immunologically targeted agents designed to prevent or intercept the oncogenic process in higher-risk populations, CAP-IT has begun to institute multiple functional Working Groups. These groups are tasked to collaborate extensively within the CAP-IT network. Each group, with its focused expertise, contributes to a comprehensive approach to research, ensuring that all facets of cancer prevention are addressed. This structured yet collaborative environment enables researchers from various backgrounds and institutions to work synergistically, leading to more innovative and impactful research outcomes.
